Absolutely Diplomatically Wellington 2000

Absolutely Diplomactically Wellington (20-21 May 2000) was the first tournament organised by the Wellington Diplomacy Club. Rob Schone was the Tournament Director, and Jimmy Millington and Simon Pleasants helped organise the tournament. The tournament was a continuous tournament. Players were entered into a queue upon signing up for the tournament. Once seven players were in the queue a game started at the next deadline, and so on until there were less than seven players in the queue. Once players were eliminated from their games, or once games finished, those players entered the queue, and new games started once there were seven players available. There were no defined "rounds" in this tournament.

Each game was scored using the Detour98f scoring system. Players total Detour score for the tournament was then divided by the number of games played plus two (minimum divisor 5) to rank the players for the tournament.
